Seren B. is a thirty-something female from the Midlands area of the United Kingdom.
She graduated from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge with an Honours Degree in English Literature and Film. Her dissertation was entitled Hypocrisy, Class and the End of Empire in Fin de Siecle Britain. During her studies she focused specifically on late 19th century English literature and 20th century American literature. For her film element, she studied various aspects of film production, the visual art of misc-en-scene, French New Wave cinema and German Expressionism.
Seren enjoys science fiction and intelligent thrillers. She especially likes intelligent thrillers if they're set in a science fiction background.
Her previous employment includes working as a copy editor and proof reader for various publishers. For this reason, she is eternally embarassed about this blog and the countless spelling, grammatical and continuity errors she finds. She considers this karmic retribution.
She has also worked briefly with the Office for National Statistics and worked as a tutor with two training providers.
